World Vision

World Vision

Global

Providing Clean Water, Eradicate poverty

Find out more

World Vision has a long history of taking action that transforms the world. Their focus is on helping the most vulnerable children, in the most difficult places, overcome poverty and experience the fullness of life. Through World Vision’s work, every 60 seconds a family gets water, a hungry child is fed, and a family receives the tools to overcome poverty. World Vision has been transforming vulnerable children's lives since 1950.

One of their impacts is providing water to children in need. Do you know that lots of children live under poor sanitation and improper hygiene? No clean water. Some children in the developing world walk 6km (3.7miles) to get clean water. That is very stressful on the children and has an impact on their well-being and education.

You can help by joining a community project - World Vision Global 6K walk for water. Ask an adult about a local team you can join. When you walk for water and raise funds, you’ll bring life-changing clean water to those who need it most.

Facts: In 2020, World Vision brought clean water to 3.4 million people in need.
