Afrikindness is a good cause with an objective of inspiring people to do more to help sustain the quality of life for others.
WHY KINDNESS?
Kindness, by definition, is the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate. It is often entwined with concepts like compassion, gentleness, empathy and goodwill.

People who are kind tend to have higher self-esteem and a sense of self-efficacy. Oxford University conducted research studies on how Acts of kindness boosts well-being and positive social emotions.
Confidence
Acts of kindness boost confidence.

Acts of kindness is good for the body and the mind. It produces oxytocin, our brain’s feel-good hormone, which reduces inflammation, lowers blood pressure and improve the overall health of our heart.
You can boost your own oxytocin by being kind to others. Kindness produces endorphins, which are the brain’s natural painkiller.
Stress Reduction
Acts of kindness builds healthy relationships and reduces stress.
It helps you connect easily with others, which can directly impact loneliness, improve low mood & self-esteem and enhance relationships. Acts of kindness can be contagious.
Success
People who are kind and compassionate are always successful. It improves creativity. More engagement with people conveys presence. It also requires good communication and effective listening skills. These actions facilitate a social network and it leads to higher achievement, motivation and greater resilience.
Ripple effect
Kindness is more that behaviour. It is an act of helpfulness, being generous and considerate, and doing so without expecting anything in return. Like ripples in a pond or a rush from a waterfall, kindness from one person can expand and inspire others to be kind. It creates a ripple effect that spreads outwards to friends. It could impact a society, a country, a continent and even the world.
